Colchester Mount Zion, 328a Ipswich Road,

Colchester, CO4 0ET

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The Covid-19 pandemic means that all public events are cancelled with immediate effect. Please come back to this page for further updates as and when we have them. We had hoped we could open the hall on a weekly basis for prayer and reflection on Sundays, but with tighter restrictions announced recently, even such initiative will not be allowed. Thankfully, prayer is NOT confined to a place or building: Prayer works from wherever we offer them!

The below is a brief description of the start and life of the church, but - for the moment - we cannot open :(

Colchester Mount Zion is the sister church (corps) to the Citadel. Approximately 30 years ago,  a small group of people from the Citadel Corps, were led by God to start the new Corps in the Highwoods area of Colchester. This became the Colchester Mount Zion Corps. A varied programme of activities takes place every week, as follows:

Sunday worship: Coffee fellowship at 10.30am, with the meeting starting at 11am. This Sunday, 3rd February: Parables

Mondays (1st and 3rd) a senior citizens meeting at 2.30pm. A programme of fun and laughter for all!

Wednesdays (term time only) Parent and Toddler group from 10am - 12 noon. Safe environments for the very young children.  Small charge apply: £1.50 per child, and then 50p per additional child in attendance.

Fridays (term time) we offer two clubs for children between the ages of 5 - 18:

                   Energise (5-11) from 6.30 - 7.30pm (£1 per session)

                   Activate (12-18) from 8.00 - 9.30pm (£1.50 per session)
